I broke one of my chauvet colorpallettes, the plexiglass is so thin, something pierced it and damaged the entire board. So now I'm changing the plexiglass to a much thicker one to protect better! One of my mobile DJ rigs featuring all panel type Chauvet lighting fixtures. Set up in this particular rig, I'm using 2 ColorStrips, 4 Color Palettes, 2 Techno Strobe RGB's, 1 Vue III and 10 Techno Strobes (White). I have several other Chauvet LED lights remaining......but sometimes you have to hold yourself back and know when enough is enough. LOL I still have a hard time not tossing everyting up. This gig was dedicated to my sister Neeru Sharma who passed away on January 18th 2010 at the age of 38 years old. She was a huge supporter of my DJ career and she will be missed and loved forever ------------------ I used the scrim king skirts at this event for the first time. I had the Chauvet Colorpalette behind the skirts to enhance the lighting. You can get them at scrim-king.com I also used my QSC K12 speakers for the first time. I sold my JBL PRX 515 speakers and bought QSC K12 speakers. They are only 41 lbs and are 1000 watts in power. They sound very clean and crisp and I would recommend them to anyone. For larger events you should consider getting subwoofers also to pair with the K12 tops This event had about 75 people, it was for the Ingham County Medical Society dinner. This is a video from a bar that I did a lighting install at. I do apologize about the sound but this was recorded by my incredible (so I guess it's not so bad for a phone). I removed all their old 300 watt incandescent par cans, a total of 32 of them. All these lights were replaced with Chauvet LED lights. This new light setup is much more exciting because, let's be honest, par cans can turn on and turn off (whoopee) and they will most likely never have to get up on a ladder to change a bulb. I dropped the energy consumption of their stage by 98%! Another great Montreal wedding with Uptown Xpress. Small wedding, about 60 people at Le Crystal. We had our medium package, 5 foot truss with 2 chauvet intimidator 1.0's, chauvet colorpalette, American DJ Revo 3, ADJ Mystic LED, ADJ Galaxian, ADJ Quadgem, Microh LEDBAR, 4 Chauvet LED Par38 and the hazer plus scrim-king skirting. This was an amazing party, everyone had a great time, people where dancing on the dancefloor, by the bar and almost anywhere they could, it was great! We had party props for this wedding too: leis, hats, sunglasses and glow sticks! Part one shows the setup, dinner and some dancing.
